German Porcelain (Porcelain) Originated in Germany, this garlic is a good keeper with rich flavor. It generally has 4 to 5 fat cloves per bulb. Its parchment-like white skin with fine purple lines makes it a beautiful garlic also. Store well. I have has this variety for awhile now, very good grower for the Midwest.

Romanian Red (Porcelain) Orginated in Romania, this is a large and beautiful garlic with a rich robust flavor that is strong and has an aftertaste that lingers. The clove covers are a light brown streaked with purple. Average 4 to 6 large cloves that are generally easy to peel.

Gypsy Red (Porcelain) If you have a little gypsy in you, then this is the variety for you. It is a Romanian heirloom garlic, that produces tall white bulbs with 4 to 6 cloves per bulb. It has a hot, strong, long lasting flavor that mellows with cooking.

Music (Porcelain) A very cold hardy garlic, it has an incredible garlic flavor that is slightly spicy, and one of the most popular to grow because it can get large and it is easy to grow. Produces between 4 and 6 easy to peel large cloves per bulb, with a shiny-white sheath and pink-tinged clove skins. This one was named by the Ontario Garlic Growers Association in recogition of Al Music, who brought this Italian variety back to Canada in the 1980's.

Georgian Fire (Porcelain) This fiery garlic from the Republic of Georgia in central Asia lives up to its name. This skins range from yellow to purple in color and averages around 5-9 cloves per bulb. It will store for about 5 months. This is a good chili or burger garlic.

Bavarian Purple (Porcelain) - A strong garlic with a bite that produces large dark purple skinned cloves. It is supposed to be a good one for growing in cold winters, so it should grow well here. It is a new one for us, may have some ready for 2011.

Rosewood (Porcelain) - It originated in USSR and averages around 4 clove per bulb. Big gorgeous bulbs and fat cloves. It is a long storing garlic. Raw, it has a kick that mellows to a pleasing garlicky finish. Also a new one for me, won't be ready til 2011.

Pink Music (Porcelain) - This one is very similair to Music, but the skins of the cloves are pink. Averages about 5 cloves per bulb. Chester Aaron, Northern California's garlic guru, describes this as " one of the heartiest, largest, and tastiest garlics." Its rich flavor is ideal for roasting. This is a new one and probably will be available in 2011.

Floha (Porcelain) - Originated from East Germany, is has excellent baked flavor that is not too hot when used raw. An exceptionally versitile garlic . Averages 6 cloves per bulb. New variety that will not be ready until 2011.

Pennslyvania Dutch (Porcelain) - A new one for us, hopefully to have some in 2011. It is a very hot spicy garlic, eaten raw its almost eye watering, fire breathing hot. The burn doesn't linger long though so don't be scared. Great to use in salsa because it does have great flavor. It produces nice sized bulbs that are easy to peel. 5-6 cloves per bulb.

Vostani (Porcelain) - Produces large bulbs and cloves. The flavor is good and it has a decent storage life for a hardneck variety. Averages 4-5 cloves per bulb. New variety for us and will probably be available in 2011.
